General Information

·You must register and arrange for payment in full prior to entering your motel room. Advance deposit required for all rentals especially late arrivals.

Check out time is 11:00 AM  and check in time is 3:00 PM .  · You may pay for your room with either a VISA, Discover, Master Card or American express. You may also pay for your room with Cash or personal check, but YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO HAVE A CREDIT CARD ON FILE with the Motel. 

There will be a $10.00 fee charged for any lost keys. ·

Any reservations made under false pretenses i.e. failing to advise us about the total number of persons in your party including any children or failing to advise us if you have a pet(s), or any attempt to mislead or defraud the Owners will be subject to deposit forfeiture and reservation cancellation. ·

 Reservations can be made up to six months in advance. Reservations made more than 6 months in advance may be subject to rate increases. 

Cancellation Policies:

Due to our limited number of rooms we have found it necessary to implement a cancellation policy. When you make a reservation with us it means that someone else may be turned away if they try to book that date and room. We make a commitment to our guests when we reserve a room on their behalf and require a commitment from our guests in return.  Reservations must be confirmed with a credit card. Cancellations will be accepted with at no cost if made 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in. For a reservation for our week rates the cancellation needs to be 72 hours before scheduled check-in, to be accepted at no cost. Cancellations until 24 hours prior to schedule check-in, the first day will be charged. Cancellations notice less than 24 hours prior to schedule check-in, or if you fail to check in, and you have not cancelled your booking, we will impose a “no show” charge. The no show charge varies depending on the time and can be up to the total price of the booking.

Refunds: No refunds will be given for early departures or due to inclement weather especially for  weekend rentals. ·

You are required to notify the office if you are expecting visitors to your motel room.  If we discover any unauthorized visitors or undeclared occupants in your motel room, we will ask you to leave the premises immediately and there will be no refunds. 

Our visitor policy is designed to provide a safe and quiet atmosphere for all of our guests. Unless you tell us otherwise, we assume that you are not expecting guests and do not wish to have guests unless you tell us in advance. Maximum occupancy is set by owner and consistent with the State Fire Marshal.

Illegal drugs or activities will not be tolerated anywhere on the property, including in the rooms.Alcohol consumption by persons under legal age is not allowed anywhere on the property. Do NOT leave doors and/or windows open if the air-conditioning or heater  is on · Per our insurance requirements Non-registered guests are not permitted to use the any motel amenities. · We only have no smoking room. All rooms are Non-Smoking rooms.  

Smoking in a non-smoking room will result in a $50.00 Clean Up Fee. ·

You are expected to leave our rooms clean before departing. Please take out the trash and wash any dishes you use. Maid service is not available and a bill will be rendered for excessive dirtiness. · Damage to any motel room, or lost/stolen items will be charged to you. You will be charged for damage caused by pets, children, or negligence. · Certain pet breeds and the number of pets is restricted by owner.

All pets staying at the Motel must be pre-approved before arrival. (Click here for pet polices;  PET POLICIES) You are responsible for reading and abiding by all posted rules and regulations while staying at the Motel.· We reserve the right to change rental assignments without prior notice or liability in the event that a particular motel room becomes unavailable. When comparable accommodations are not available, the renter will have the option of selecting from available motel rooms at the published rate or receiving a complete refund.

PLEASE NOTE: This motel and property are privately owned, and management reserves the right to refuse use of the rooms or any other part of the property to non-guests, or to people who do not observe Motel Rules. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests using our facilities, or for the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind left in the rooms or while using the hot tub or shower rooms. Please act accordingly. 

Pets Rules      

These rules apply to guests using rooms at the Dutch Maple Terrace Motel who have pets with them. If you think they are unfair or do not wish to abide by them, please do not bring your pets with you:

  • Pets are allowed in Owners rooms only, and must be registered with owners.
  • You must keep your pet(s) on a leash and with you while outdoors and on the motel property.
  • Pets must be kept quiet at all times and especially after 11 p.m.–inside and outside.
  • Pets are allowed only on the understanding that the guests who have registered them will be held financially responsible for any damage to room or contents by their pet(s).
  • Pets must accompany owners if the owners leave their motel room. Do not leave pets unattended in your room.
  • Pet owner must supply bedding, food, water and litter box for pet(s) in the motel room.
  • Pet owners are expected to prevent pets from urinating or moving their bowels in the people areas of the motel property–that includes the rooms, walkways, parking, and formal grassed areas of the motel property. Children play and people walk in these areas.
  • Pet owners are expected to scoop, bag and retrieve any feces (and meal remnants such as bones) dropped by their pets on motel property, and probably off the property too.
